FaZe player Håvard "rain" Nygaard is the recipient of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the ECS Season 4 Finals by HLTV.org & Betway.
The Norwegian talent inspired FaZe to win their first title in two months with an impressive 1.37 playoff rating, topping the scoreboard in each of his team's map wins in the knockout stages apart from the decider map of the grand final, Mirage. Despite that, he was still the top performer of the title decider with an average 1.19 Rating, eclipsing MOUZ' Miikka "suNny" Kemppi.
Håvard "rain" Nygaard had the highest tournament Rating (1.28) and also led the charts in many other categories, including ADR (94.5), total assists (48) and headshots kills (131).
The other players in consideration for the award heading into the final were Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, the highest rated player by that point, suNny, MOUZ' best player before the final match and the star of the last game of the event, and Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný.
This is the second MVP award of rain's career after the Norwegian won the medal at the ELEAGUE Premier, where he averaged a 1.27 Rating.
